In 2005, Aurora and Michelle opened Hostel Bekuo in the Los Yoses neighborhood, between the bustling College Town of San Pedro and San Jose.

With their vision for a hostel that was unmatched in comfort, style and service, Hostel Bekuo has gained a reputation for just that.

Travelers from all over the world come to Bekuo and Michelle and Aurora, along with a group of employees composed of extended family, adopted family and a Peruvian kid that just never left, make every effort to ensure that everyone has a pleasant stay.

We hope that you come and stay with us and see why Michelle and Aurora have what many guidebooks and web pages call the best hostel in Costa Rica.

Hostel Bekuo is located 325 meters west of Spoon Los Yoses, or 100 meters South of the Subaru Dealership in Los Yoses and 25 meters west.

Who's running the show:

Jaime Victoria: A laid back guy that hails from Bogota, Columbia. Jaime is the tour and rental car guru at the hostel

Jane Kogel: She's got to be one of the best photographers in Costa Rica, and we are blessed with her presence every Sunday. She's a Tica from Cartago, just outside of San Jose.

Dustin Pate: Former professional Ball player, Dustn keeps everyone laughing with his impressions of the people from his home state of South Carolina.

Nolan Davis: Another South Carolinite, Dustin has an uncanny resemblance to Jesus, or a younger version of Bodhi from Point Break.

Gonzalo Higueras: A Peruvian kid from Lima, Gonzalo is a graduate of Cordon Bleu, so we are blessed some amazing food from time to time.

Ney Arrua: Ney hails from Uruguay and Australia, and is a musician of some noteriety. He's always smiling and has been traveling for years.
